One team. A new city. Countless memories.
After our team trips to Belgrade, Budapest and Istanbul over the past years, our by-now traditional Oratio team trip took us to Barcelona this year.
What began a few years ago as a shared idea is today a firm part of our company culture. Once a year we deliberately leave the daily routine behind, discover a new city together and create memories that reach far beyond the workplace.
Barcelona was very much a conscious choice.
A city full of energy, variety and joy for life. Exactly the qualities that define our team, too.
5 days. 52 employees. 1 shared experience.
Together with 52 colleagues in total, we set off for Barcelona and spent five unforgettable days there.
The flight over together was already the opening act of a special trip. For many, Barcelona was a new experience; for others, a reunion with one of Europe’s most fascinating cities. For all of us, it was the perfect place to spend time together.
During our stay we explored the most impressive sights of the Catalan metropolis. We marvelled at the world-famous Sagrada Família, strolled along the lively La Rambla, discovered the historic Barri Gòtic, took in the view from Montjuïc and let ourselves be captivated by the singular buildings of Antoni Gaudí.
Of course, a visit to the legendary Camp Nou could not be missing either. For the many football fans on our team, that moment was one of the absolute highlights of the trip.
Just as unforgettable was our visit to the Aquàrium Barcelona, one of the largest marine worlds in Europe. In between, there was plenty of time to enjoy the sun on the beach, walk through the city together and simply savour the moment.
Another highlight was the traditional flamenco evening. The music, the passion of the dance and the special atmosphere made that evening an experience all of us will remember for a long time.
Every day brought new impressions, new conversations and new shared memories. That is exactly what made this trip so special.
Shared experiences make strong teams
Whether over a dinner together, exploring the city, watching the sunset on the beach or in the many conversations in between. It is in exactly these moments that something forms which can neither be planned nor organised.
- Trust.
- Cohesion.
- Real team spirit.
People who know each other better also work together better. Communication becomes easier, decisions come more quickly and mutual support becomes a given. That benefits not only our team, but ultimately our clients too.
More than a trip. A part of our company culture.
Our team trips are far more than a holiday together.
They are an expression of our company culture and of our conviction that lasting success always begins with people.
That is why we invest not only in modern workplaces, training or innovative technology. Above all, we invest in what really makes Oratio.
Our team! Because processes can be optimised. Technology can be renewed.
A strong team, however, only forms where people feel valued, build trust and grow together.
That is exactly why we will hold on to this tradition in the future as well.
Belgrade. Budapest. Istanbul. Barcelona…
We do not yet know the destination for 2026.
One thing we know for certain, though. As Oratio, we will experience it together again.
